Role Description
AISAP is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Applications Specialist (Ultrasound) to support the delivery of clinical and product training for our AI-powered ultrasound solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced sonographer who is passionate about education, technology, and improving patient care through innovative tools.
The Clinical Applications Specialist will be responsible for training end users across a variety of clinical settings including cardiology and POCUS environments, supporting product adoption, and ensuring customers gain confidence in both ultrasound image acquisition and AISAP technology.
This role includes a combination of on-site training, virtual education, and ongoing customer support, and requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Training & Education
- Deliver hands-on ultrasound training to end users, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers with varying levels of experience
- Teach core echocardiography views (e.g., parasternal long/short axis, apical 4-chamber, subcostal)
- Provide instruction on image acquisition, optimization, and basic interpretation
- Adapt training approach to meet diverse learner needs and clinical environments
Product Training & Support
- Educate users on AISAP platform functionality, workflows, and best practices
- Support customer onboarding, go-lives, and post-implementation training
- Reinforce product value and drive user adoption
Customer Engagement
- Serve as a trusted clinical resource for customers during and after training
- Provide virtual follow-up sessions and ongoing education as needed
- Gather user feedback and communicate insights to internal teams (product, engineering, leadership)
Qualifications
Required
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or registry-eligible with strong experience)
- Strong foundational knowledge of cardiac ultrasound views and techniques
- Experience training or mentoring others (formal or informal)
- Willingness and ability to travel for on-site training
Preferred
- Experience with Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS)
- Prior experience in a clinical applications specialist, clinical educator, or field training role
- Familiarity with ultrasound technology, AI tools, or healthcare innovation
- Experience working with non-traditional ultrasound users (e.g., physicians, APPs, nurses)
